About me!
My name is Julia Elahmad. I am a Graphic Designer located in Richmond, Virginia, though originally from Houston, Texas. I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, having received my Bachelors degree in Graphic Design with a certificate in Product Innovation from the da Vinci Center.
Over the years, I have studied under and collaborated with successful Artists, Designers, and Creative and Marketing Directors in both studio and corporate environments.
I specialize in branding and marketing with professional field experience in both of these areas. I also practice digital illustration, UI/UX design, and analog design processes such as letterpress. My skill set is vindicated with a proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including the programs; Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Amongst my peers I am known to be equable, supportive, and a team player. Keeping organized and impartial allows me to play to my strengths. I value my work and approach projects with tenacity and reason.
In my spare time I am learning HTML, CSS, SEO, and additional Adobe programs. I value sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices.
