In my final course, pursuing an Undergraduate Certificate in Product Innovation at the VCU da Vinci Center, a group of multi-disciplinary students and I partnered with Capital One to revamp their Financial Literacy Program.
The late interface hindered the Capital One associates from pursuing community volunteerism, leading to a disconnect within the company’s culture of simplicity, ingenuity, and humanity. In collaboration with the Capital One Community Affairs Team, we developed an improved identity suited with a seamless navigation system, accessible content, and social features to encourage communication between associates.
Keeping in mind Capital One’s aesthetic and values, I was responsible for the creation of the prototype (Adobe XD), including several wireframe ideations, a color palette, the team logo (Adobe Illustrator), and refined final mockups (Adobe Photoshop).
